Student Mobility
The Melbourne Graduate School of Education supports and encourages student mobility.
As a student of the University of Melbourne there are many opportunities for you to undertake studies at other institutions around the world. You can study a single subject, a single semester, or take a complete year of your program at a partner institution and receive credit towards your degree in Education at Melbourne.
Opportunities also exist for Graduate and Undergraduate Exchange and Study Abroad students from around the world to undertake a subject, or sequence of subjects that may count towards a portion of the home institution degree.

What are the options?
Exchange
Exchange students remain enrolled at the University of Melbourne and are also enrolled into a host institution overseas. They continue to pay their tuition fees to the University of Melbourne and do not pay any tuition fees to their host university. They are nominated by Melbourne Global Mobility and receive assistance to arrange their study overseas.
Study Abroad
Study Abroad students take a leave of absence from their University of Melbourne degree and enrol directly into a host institution overseas. They do not pay any tuition fees to the University of Melbourne, but must pay whatever fees are asked of them as an international student at their host institution. Students are responsible for arranging a study abroad program themselves.
Other Options
Other options for completing part of your University of Melbourne degree overseas include short courses, single subjects overseas, work experience and internships. Opportunities will vary depending upon your faculty.
